As members of the public swing, the nearby trees illuminate from the roots up – until the entire tree is lit. Upon a fully lit tree, a sequence of lights is displayed, slowly descending back into the ground ready to start again
- Battery powered IMU sensor modules attached to the swings allow detection of movement
- XBee based wireless communications
- Teensy powered LED controller, running main state machines and effects
- Fully custom LED effects and patterns
- Internal sound effect engine generate noises as the users swing
