Design and creation of a UART logger that can run continually over a period of months off of a single AA battery.
- Device continually records UART traffic to an SD card, with the ability to generate timestamped files, and files for each day.
- SD card can be plugged into a host computer for instant access to the serial traffic.
- Device time & configuration can be set through a basic serial console interface when connected to a PC
- Kermit implementation allows logs to be pulled directly from the device when connected to a PC
